White wine glasses

Since white wines rarely need to breathe, the bowl of the glass is not as critical. As a rule, it is small and only slightly bulbous.
More important is the stem; here, the longer the better. This creates the greatest possible distance between the hand and the bowl, minimally affecting the temperature of the chilled white wine – which is enjoyed at a good temperature. The small bowl also supports this by keeping the filling volume relatively low. This ensures the white wine doesn't stay in the glass for too long, allowing it to be enjoyed well-chilled until the last sip.
